I'm Dolphia.

I lead teams & design products that connect people and remove chaos.

As design lead for the City of Cambridge, I translate complexity into clarity through thoughtful systems and user-centered solutions.

Portfolio Projects

A collection of work that bridges creative vision with real-world impact. Each project tells a story of thoughtful problem-solving and purposeful design.

Led and built Cambridge's first City-wide Brand Guideline to transform fragmented materials across departments into unified, accessible standards spanning print, digital, social media, photography, video, and visual identity.

Designing and implementing a city-wide design system to unify fragmented digital experiences across 70+ websites —reducing cognitive load for residents and enabling 46 departments to publish content consistently without custom development.

I’m a design leader who believes design is more than a career; it’s how I live my life. My journey began in software development (humble brag: BS and MS in Computer Science and Engineering), but I discovered my true calling in UX: transforming abstract ideas into experiences that people can actually use.

For the past eight years, I’ve been the City’s lead designer, guiding cross-departmental teams and shaping systems that serve over 100,000 residents. From building a city-wide design system to creating an employee portal for 1,600 staff members, my work has consistently centered on clarity, accessibility, and trust.

Beyond civic design, I’m a storyteller at heart. I love blending creativity and strategy - whether it’s photography, videography, illustration, or late-night explorations of marketing and design systems. For me, design touches every aspect of life, and I bring that curiosity and passion into every project I lead.

I live, lead, and tell stories through design.

Let’s talk.

Let’s talk about building products, design systems, or just the future of design. I’m always open to new opportunities and connections, just say hello!
